(Disclaimer: this post was drafted a couple weeks ago)

Monday (9/14) - Macho Nacho Taco - A little taco joint in Crown Heights, wasn't exceptional.

Tuesday (9/15) - Berg'n - Stopped in this beer hall to try the new Ed & Bev's, Bunk'r and old classic Mighty Quinn's BBQ.

Wednesday (9/16) - L'Artusi - If there is one secret gem that exists amongst todays sprawl of food reviews and blogs it is L'Artusi. Every member of staff will take care of you graciously. And every morsel will dance on your tongue all the way down. Go here!

Thursday (9/17) - Aurora- My co-workers and I had an office bonding trip here for lunch. Everything is top notch. Barboncino is a great pizza spot, and even greater is that their kitchen is open late. A middle of the night craving was put to rest by these guys!

Friday (9/18) - Bean & Bean - Along my High Line walk on my way to work, I stopped in for an end of the week bagel and a cold brew. NYC simple pleasures.

Saturday (9/19) - Manny's - I continue to be blown away by this spot tucked back on Patchen Avenue. Everything, everything is good here.

Sunday (9/20) - Dominique Ansel Bakery - I finally succumbed to the power of the Cronut. Pro tip: make your reservation online to skip the long lines! Verdict: It's very good! Still dreaming/drooling. Sunday ended up being a snack tour of NYC, stopping at Big Gay Ice Cream, and Blue Bottle Coffee. Don't worry, I balanced everything out with a big Rad Thai Salad from Sweetgreen
